Back to School

How exciting! We are in the middle of our first week of school and I still can't believe my luck. Not only do I get the chance to work at a school with a staff I admire, respect, and LIKE, I also get a class full of wonderful little (ok, some are my height) people I get to enjoy for 6 1/2 hours a day as well. I began a blog this summer for learning purposes and now I get to use what I have learned. Fortunately (and obviously, to some of you), I have a lot to learn about how to create a unique website. After permission has been granted, I can begin posting photos and videos on this site to let you, as parents, see what we are doing in the classroom. I will post homework on this site and general info. This will be just another way to communicate with you, but it will not be the only way I get information to you. There is nothing like a good old phone call or letter to let you know how things are going with your child. Your child is a unique and special person, and I want you to know what is happening with them during the time they are in school. My hope is that this site will act as a catalyst to help you talk to your child about their day. I will not put personal information on this site, but general information, dates, and reminders. Know that you can call me or email me at any time. See the info on the side bar of the site for that info. I am open to suggestions about what information you would like to see on the site. I am looking to a year full of fun and learning. Enjoy!
