Happy Valentine's Day!!

Whew!  We are exhausted!  Not just due to today's Jump Rope for Heart, but this week has been busy, busy, busy!!  Today, we got our social studies test back.  Most of us did well on the multiple choice, but the challenge came when we had to put our thinking into written responses.  If anyone thinks their written responses deserve more credit, they have a chance to earn some by defending their answer in writing, using evidence from social studies text pages.  That needs to be signed by a parent and is due, with the test, next Wednesday.

Tomorrow is our BIG Snow Treasure test.  This will include comprehension questions and a COMPREHENSIVE vocabulary test (over all flashcards).  We should prepare by studying the study guide (with a parent would be great) and the flashcards (or Quizlet).  That will take place in the morning.

Remember that reading log that you should still be filling out with your daily reading?  That will be collected and checked next Wednesday when we conference, so please be prepared! Also, don't forget about the February genre choice.  You need to let me know your choice next Wednesday and the project is NOW DUE On Monday, March 4!  After this project, we have only one more and that will be due the end of April.
