There's going to be a revolution!

Parents,
As you probably saw in my email yesterday, this will be a busy week. Please take a moment to talk to your child about their letter to you in their composition books about how to manage their studies so they come to school feeling prepared and confident! While we have a good amount of time to work on different items, some kids are still working on using time efficiently so they may have more coming home.

Here's what is going on this week:

Writing:
newsletters are to be read and signed by Wednesday

Math:
5G - 2 sheets for today, evens only (reading problems carefully)
        also, study guide is due Wednesday, there will be time in class tomorrow to work
        TEST Thursday
5K - sheet
5R - three study link pages

Social Studies:
Read lesson 3 on the start of the Revolution!
There will be time to work on the study packet tomorrow, but some questions should be answered as homework.
TEST ON WEDNESDAY!!

Reading:
Snow Treasure - READ ONLY CHAPTER 26 and 27 - THEN STOP!!!
Flashcards from today and last Friday - quiz will be Thursday morning
Snow Treasure test will be Friday (this will include a cumulative vocabulary section)

As another reminder, your child should have his or her February genre selection made.  Next week, there is no school on Monday or Tuesday so those would be great days to catch up or finish reading.  If there are any questions about the projects that are NOW due on March 5, please let me know.
